Todd Claypool

Executive Director and Counselor

MDiv, M.S., KLPC

Todd Claypool is a retired US Army Chaplain serving over 29 years in the military. His specific education and unique experiences enrich his skills in working with people in some of life's most joyous and difficult times. He and his wife have led numerous marriage, family, and individual relationship retreats, seminars, countless Bible studies, and personal life-skill growth training events in diverse settings.


Compassionate and caring, he is an excellent listener and gifted counselor with marriage and family ministry expertise. 


Todd enjoys being outdoors, spending time with his family, hanging out with his dog Eli, and hobby farming in his spare time. 

Carrie Claypool

Instructor, and Wellness Education

With over 20 years in the wellness industry, Carrie specializes in nutrition and health through diet, exercise, supplements, essential oils, and lifestyle training.  Carrie provides wholeness education on the mind, body, spirit, and soul, with Christ as the center of all areas.


She enjoys teaching group and individual classes and is passionate about helping people learn to live the best life that God has for them. 


Carrie has raised three incredible young men, and when not teaching about wellness and relationships, she enjoys her hobby farm raising goats and chickens.


Thomas Cox

Associate Director, Counselor and Veteran Outreach

Tom is a retired US Army Chaplain (LTC) who served over twenty-eight years. He has had multiple deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, (Afghanistan) and Kuwait .


He earned a Masters of Science in Community Counseling at Columbus State University as part of the US Army Family Life Chaplain Program. His utilization tour was as Director of the Fort Lewis and I Corps Chaplain Family Life Center during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he trained over 10,000 Soldier and family members on coping with the dynamics of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after a combat deployment.


In Germany CH Cox served as Broadcast Ministry Chaplain, American Forces Network, Europe, where he developed and broadcast information commercials about strengthening marital relationships and coping with PTSD, as well as daily devotions and weekly messages. 


Tom is now retired and enjoying working on his property as well as supporting ministry through preaching and counseling Veterans at a local church. He is married to his wife, Joy of 36 years and has three adult children.

We have been married since May, 2009 and have three adult children between us. We are long time members of Bagdad Baptist Church. We own Blasters Tool and Supply Company since 2013.

Rev. Harry Herbert

Pastor - Christiansburg Baptist Church


Harry and Robin Herbert have been married 35 years and have 3 grown daughters, and 3 grandchildren. Harry is a graduate of Louisville Bible College and has been blessed to be a shepherd to churches and ministries in Kentucky for more than 25 years. He is the pastor of Christiansburg Baptist Church in Shelby County.
